Privacy Policy

This policy explains what MyVault collects and how we use it.

Information we collect

Account details (name, email, mobile number, hashed password); vault details (goal names, targets, unlock dates); deposit records (amounts, dates). For gifts, the name and note the gifter provides.

Payment information

Payments are handled by Stripe. Card and bank details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored on MyVault's servers. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

How we use it

To run your vaults, process deposits and withdrawals, and send account emails and texts such as deposit reminders, auto-deposit heads-ups, milestone and unlock alerts. You can turn reminders off in Profile.

Sharing

We don't sell your data. We share it only with providers that help run the Service (payments, email and SMS delivery, hosting), or when required by law. Members of a shared vault can see each other's names and contributions.

Retention and your rights

We keep data while your account is active and as needed for legal and accounting purposes. You can request access to or deletion of your data by emailing support@myvault.app.

Security

Passwords are hashed and all traffic is encrypted over HTTPS.
